Rochester University Transfer Agreement

Anchor Bible College (ABC) and Rochester University (RU) are pleased to have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding, aiming to expand educational opportunities for Michigan residents, fostering a symbiotic relationship where both institutions mutually benefit. Both institutions are committed to upholding the highest standards in education, and share a commitment to furthering Christian education.

Further Details and Requirements:

Students who meet the admission criteria at RU will be granted regular admission. Students who have successfully earned the ABC certificate and degree listed below will be granted university credit for that training, as specified in this agreement after they have completed one full semester at Rochester University.

RCU may recognize and grant up to thirty (30) credit hours toward an undergraduate degree for students who have completed a certificate with ABC. Credit may be assigned as follows, for courses on which students earn at least a C (73%):

  1. Completion of the ABC Certificate in Biblical Studies grants twenty-four (24) lower-division RCU credits, assigned as follows:
    • Three (3) credits, covering RCU ’s REL 1013 Survey of Biblical Literature 
    • Nine (9) lower-division BIB credits
    • Nine (9) lower-division THL credits
    • Three (3) lower-division MIN credits
  2. Completion of the ABC Associates Degree in Biblical Studies grants eighteen (18)additional credits.
    • Six (6) lower-division BIB credits
    • Six (6) lower-division THL credits
    • Six (6) lower-division MIN credits
  3. RCU shall determine to which RCU BIB courses the granted credit hours will be assigned, based on ABC student transcript.
