Theology 101 – Christian Theology I (3 credits)

This course covers 3 main topics in relation to Christian Theology: The Doctrine of the Word of God, The Doctrine of God, and The Doctrines of Christ and the Holy Spirit. Class time will consist of lectures on these various topics. Evaluation will be based on completion of the assigned reading material, chapter review questions, weekly quizzes, a mid-term examination, a final examination, and a final project (6-8 page paper on aspects of a personal statement of faith).

  • Days and Times: Sundays from 4pm-7pm
  • Location: Hope Community Church in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Room 105.
  • Meeting Dates: 09/01/2024 – 12/15/2024.
    • Thanksgiving Holiday Break: 12/01/2024.
  • Course Tuition: $220
  • Prerequisites: None

  • Systematic Theology, 2nd Edition (2020), Wayne Grudem, ISBN: 978-0-310-51797-9
