Course Description

Theology 101 – Christian Theology I (3 credits)

This course covers 3 main topics in relation to Christian Theology: The Doctrine of the Word of God, The Doctrine of God, and The Doctrines of Christ and the Holy Spirit. Class time will consist of lectures on these various topics. Evaluation will be based on completion of the assigned reading material, chapter review questions, weekly quizzes, a mid-term examination, a final examination, and a final project (6-8 page paper on aspects of a personal statement of faith).

Jon received his B.S. in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his Master of Divinity from Moody Theological Seminary-Michigan. Jon lives, works, and serves in the Metro Detroit area. Jon is an elder and member of the Teaching Team at 1Mosaic Church in Adrian, MI.
